The Second Annual Brush Creek Art Walk: A Painting Competition
Join some of the best artists the region has to offer as they compete along the newly renovated Brush Creek Parkway. An almost continous trail of lush tree lined walks, fountains, and scultptures stretching over 4 miles from East to West.
For years Brush Creek has cut it's pathway through the lush grounds surrounding the Country Club Plaza, and the Nelson Atkin's Museum and Art Gallery, the last link is being placed this year connecting East and West. Be a part of what hopes to become a tradition of the arts in Kansas City with the Brush Creek Art Walk: A Painting Competion.
From Sunrise to Sunset artists will be painting live on site for a chance to show at the Bruce R Watkin's Cultural Center. This is a juried competition for the work created at the BCAW: Painting Competition.
